3 x Meritorious Achievement Awards (October 2014)

Three UK wide Meritorious Achievement Awards have been awarded to adult members of the Squadron.  Flying Officer Gallagher for her numerous previous years service, achievements, assistance and ongoing work for the Flying Scholarship for Disabled People (FSDP);  Stewart Campbell (Civilian Committee Chairman); and the Civilian Committee members for their excellent fundraising achievements allowing the Squadron to purchase a minibus and undertake a project to fund and build a disability compliant Mobile Flight Simulator.

Public Relations Competition (September 2014)

The Squadron has won a prestigious award in being the best Squadron within Scotland and Norther Ireland Region in promoting, through the local, national and international media, the excellent work undertaken by staff and cadets.  This involved numerous community events, activities, fundraising for good causes, personal recognition of achievements, and an ongoing community Commemorative and Peace Garden to remember those fallen in the First World War.

Squadron Minibus  (November 2013)

Through fundraising activities, the squadron has now purchased it's own minibus enabling cadets to take advantage of the numerous opportunities to undertake training, activities and competitions.  There has been a lot of interest shown within the Air Cadets and beyond in the outstanding graphics on the vehicle which was  designed by the Civilian Committee chairman.

Mobile Flight Simulator (May 2012)

What is believed to be the first Disability Discrimination Act compliant mobile flight simulator within the Air Training Corps 70 year history, was designed, built and completed as a part of a cadet project on 18 May 2012.

More than £1500 raised by Cadets

A charity bag pack undertaken by cadets on behalf of the members of the Royal Air Force Association (RAFA) was held at Asda, Cumbernauld, on Saturday 3 December 2011.
